Partial Thickness values recover over Southern England, but are still highest over NE Scotland, West Wales and SW England. Dry soil in many places creating higher temps than PT alone would suggest (not NE Scotland which is more descending air from Grampians creating even more dryness)

19-20C seems likley across parts of Western and Southern England and 20-22C in isolated parts of the west and NE of Scotland.

Fog largely not a problem except around London where some moisture has fed up the Thames Estury and is affecting parts of Surrey and NE Hants in particular. Another patch around the Wash.

Had a misty/foggy start and temperature down to +0.6 - still a bit hazy but the sun is there and temperature now recovered to +4.5°C. I've forecast potentially 20°C for my local region.

Heres something remarkable.. Wick on the north coast of Scotland is 19C and may reach 20C.. this would be noteworthy in mid summer let alone late March!

"Only" 15C here after a minimum of -0.2C, but feels much warmer with the strong sun. Wouldn't disgrace June.

Aberdeen & Inverness are both reporting 20C at 1220Z

Record today is 22.8C in 1907 - touch and go but i think its more unlikely than likely we will see it reached today given theres about another 2 hours of temp rising left though PTs are slightly rising
