So yet another date record too for the UK

Thats 4 daily records equalled or broken in 5 days. This is getting to be an exceptional spell of warmth now.

Absolutely as good as it gets here today, wall to wall sunshine from sunrise to sunset and the sky is so blue with not a cloud in sight. Max was 20.3C, 0.1C higher than yesterday so again breaking my March record (from 2001). RH was extremely low too, as low as 29% which is also a March record here.

Peaked at 20.6 today. Nothing like the highest temps I recorded in previous days.

Yep. BBC local weather was hinting at Weds being the warmest day.

It also broke the Scottish record of 22.8 deg. C. at Fyvie Castle, Aberdeenshire, set only yesterday! Has there been any other example of a high or low record for a region being broken twice in 2 days? (In Northern Ireland, the record low for any month was broken twice in 4 days at Castlederg, Co. Tyrone, in December 2010 - a low of -18.0 deg. C. on 20th December was broken by -18.7 deg. C. on 24th December 2010.

I was slightly disappointed that 20 deg. C. was apparently not also reached in Northern Ireland on 26th March 2012 as well as 25th, when 20.9 deg. C. was recorded at Ballykelly and 20.3 deg. C. at Magilligan, both Co. Londonderry; I though there was even a chance that the March record of 21.7 deg. C. at Armagh Observatory in March 1965 might have been broken, especially as a local roadside thermometer showed 21 deg. C. at about 2.30 pm.
