Here is yesterdays figures, the only little warmth left seems to be in Spain and Sicily, pretty cool across the whole European Basin, except the far east. parts of Russia are very warm, oh and the wooden spoon goes to Manosque and Florence, brrrr

Ian, for Conqueyrac, there were 11 days data. I know which one you didn't succeed to have. Actually, for that precise day, you can try 12 hours maximum temperature 18 UTC. Indeed, the station didn't record during a few hours, between 18 and 21. But you can choose the maximum temperature even if there wasn't any data in the evening because the actual maximum occurred before 18. On the 10th, Conqueyrac was 12.8°C. ;)

Greece continues to do better than everywhere else. Cool though for the rest. I am not too happy with 3 of the wild cards Makarska, Podgorica and Sandanski, they never come top for their country, for Bulgaria Rousse or Plovdiv are right up there. Am at work tonight so if i get the chance i may do some research

Sandanski will come top when a sustained summer pattern emerges. No way Ruse is warmer or Plovdiv for that matter

OK nice one Pit, i trust you lol - Problems with Spains La Rambla and Montoro, which i hope gets sorted as they are important stations i think for Spain. Athalassa not been updated for 4 days, but we hopefully should get all that data when they update their site.

Ian HNMS' ''yesterday weather'' section is down for a few days. They will update the section once the problem is fixed and in their email response earlier today they told me they will include all the data from the missing days for all stations .So we will need that for Nea Filadelfeia only.

You can get the data for Pyrgela,Larisa and Serres from the maps (they seem to be OK).

Ian Pyrgela registered 24.0 yesterday. Its the unnamed station on the tip of the Argolis area in East Peloponnese. It will appear without a name until the other section is back online, but it is Pyrgela.

I have some confirmation for the Sivas station at long last from the National Observatory of Athens. Dr.Psiloglou has let me know that the station is actually located quite far from Sivas village deeper in the interior of the Messara valley next to the seismological station of the National Observatory of Athens in South Crete. It is located on the edge of a hill and I reckon susceptible to local Fhoen winds.

Most importantly the temperature sensor was screened in the laboratories of N.O.A in Athens with an overall confidence of (95%) +/- 0.3 οC.I am expecting for pictures and was advised that it will soon be part of Greece's official WMO coverage.

Excellent news Pit, your persistence with e-mails etc seems to be paying fruitful dividends, will be interesting to see any pictures if you get them

Again nowhere really warm with Spain just shading it with all 6 stations in the Top 10 yesterday, Andujar being the lowest from the Spanish stations. That will not be the case in the summer, although some of the other stations Montoro and Menigbar are both fairly close to Andujar geographically, should be interesting, and up against Greeces new boy on the block Sivas in interior Crete.

I notice that apart from Mostar it seems all the stations are recording reliably and frequently enough for the summer challenge
