General evolution: An active cold front will move southwards across the UK on Monday into Tuesday.
Precipitation will initially start as rain before turning to snow on the back edge as the colder air moves in. Snow accumulations of up to 10cm are expected across parts of Scotland and northern England, with more over higher ground. Some snow may also fall south of the warning area across England (Excluding SW England) and Wales but is not currently forecast to reach the Watch criteria.
