A dry start here with 2 rain days and 2.0 mm which is 16% of the normal to the 6th. Will be all change though after Easter Monday here...

37.2mm here so far this month; mostly from the 34mm on the 4th.
Might get above average rainfall this month? (mean 45.7)

Rain showers have increased the frequency of rain days to >50% and boosted the total accumulation by a bit these last few days. Running at 16.1 mm, still below average for the period at 70%, while EvapoTranspiration stands at 20.6 mm.

Some prolonged rain last weekend and a thunderstorm yesterday have meant we're now above average for this stage in April at 30.7mm for the first 13 days, which is 134.1% of average.

19.2mm to the 14th for my site in St Germans this is 70.3% of normal to the 14th

Now on 48.0mm here, which is 145% of average to this point and just 4mm short of the average for the hwole month. Currently the 4th wettest April on record (since 1996).

Already had 10mm more in J-F-M-A than I did in the first 4 months of last year :D

Up to 89.8mm here in Coalville now, 160% of the average for April as a whole and now passed 100% of average for the year to the end of April...
