For me in St Germans in South East Cornwall my final total was 150.4 mm which is 257.5% of normal. It was my wettest April on record and likewise to Foxy my wettest month since November 2009 which saw 237.6 mm. April 2012 had 20 days of recordable rain > 0.2 mm and 2 Trace days

So all in all I have gone from recording my warmest and driest ever March to recording my coldest and wettest ever April. My records go back to 1996

Just to add my two nearest met-stations Plymouth had 134.6 mm and Cardinham 185.0 mm, so my 150.4 mm sits somewhere in between

Yes, although officially it's been the wettest April for the UK as a whole (since records began in 1910) most areas have NOT seen their wettest April and much of England was wetter in 2000.
