Looks like an active few days across the plains, with a moderate risk this Saturday. Back to today, and t its very hard to pinpoint where my starting point would be most of the RUC runs showing the strongest helicity in the TX panhandle/OK panhandle and my thinking was to start at Liberty on the borders of both with a view to going either south or north into SW kansas.

However there is still alot of cloud in this area, not helping the surface temps to rise, north of there is a clear slot, and Garden City in SW Kansas at 17Z is 67F/59F dew point. This will be my initial target zone where i believe initial convection will form, it still gives me lots of options to drop down to the panhandles or even go north. Pity i gotta go bed early tonight as im up early for work tomorrow, but maybe an interesting one, especially along the dryline.

Jeff Gonzales and Trevor Tetley are on a good cell near Trenton KS, on severestudios. Just got a TVS on it.

Haven't had chance to practice today, but content with a good evening's viewing nonetheless. Area is under a tornado watch atm.
