I was concentrating on a small horizontal FC on the outflow boundary to the right of the approaching shower ( moving left to right ) which was of the scudsucking variety ( can you spot it? ) when I saw a better example on the lower scud just ahead of the rainband above the forest. Briefly formed funnel characteristics.
Probably nothing more than a quick suck up though...
This shower had produced sferics about half an hour previous to these photos being taken.

Yeah - looks like on as does Uskys' - those smoooooth sides are the clinchers. Caught a great Scudsucker today myself, which was definitely not a funnel although with the naked eye one would easily have been fooled. The 10x50s sorted that out!

they might as well be scudsuckers!!! ... why not condense and rope out at least. But an interesting day hereabouts and worth a good look... tomorrow afternoon may be a corker.
