Any pictures should be posted in the UK Weather Photography Forum.

This is to help those on mobile devices quickly keep up todate with information on live stormsPosted Image.

Torrential downpour here with hail and rates of +60mm/hr. No sferics

@ approx 14.35 we experienced nearly 10mins of torrential rain, causing localised flooding, accompanied by fresh/strong gusty winds. No TS observed.

15.25 and round 2 of heavy/very heavy rain and fresh gusty winds. Radar looks impressive to my W, and where it's coming from :D

Couple of rumbles of thunder right over St Helens area bout an hour ago, heard one of them from here while out with the dog. Steady heavy rain now falling here.

One flash of lightning at 1435Z to my north, and one rumble of thunder at 1447Z.

Currently another cell moving through here. Although very dark and threatening, only giving moderate rainfall, but the wind on the leading edge was the biggest feature. Giving a very strong almost gale-force prolonged gust, rocking streetlights considerably and making next doors fence buckle unnervingly.
