A wet start here with 15.8 mm to the 6th which is 255% of average! Just one dry day so far.

Currently on 24.3mm here to 1700 on the 6th, which is 227.1% of average to this date.

4 rain days.

Dry start here with just 1.7mm so far, 14% of the average to this point. 2/7 rain days, 1/7 wet days (today). Looks like a very wet evening in store round here so that % should shoot up.

Up to midnight on the 7th: 42mm

With is 380% of ave to date and not far off the ave for the whole month (48.8mm), especially with a further 2.1mm earlier this morning .....

16.2 mm for me in St Germans SE Cornwall, this equates to 117.4% of average for the first 7 days of May.

A wet start to May in Warwick - Rain fall for the month up until 17.00 today, 45.2mm.

Looks like more on the way tomorrow. Can't wait.....

Currently at 25.6mm, so definitely above average for the first 8 days of May....haven't done the calculation by how much though.

Now on 43.9mm after this very wet period, 230% of the average to this point.

A very wet start to May here, 38.7 mm may not sound much but it's 312% of normal for the first 12 days of May. 9 rain days out of 12 and consistent amounts rather than one or two downpours.

Up to midnight in the 14th: 52.4mm

61-90 average for the whole month is 48.8mm, however 3 of the past 5 years (since I started recording) have exceeded that figure by over 50%

Today, 15th, has been the wettest day here since last September with 19.8mm. Most of this fell overnight/around sunrise.

This takes the May total so far to 67.1mm which is a whopping 248% of the average after 15 days. Almost all of this has fallen in the past 9 days.
