It's been exceedingly grim here all day and it is still raining!

What an exceptionally depressing spell of horrible weather. When is it ever going to end?

Some nasty flash flooding around Yorks; with Skipton and Summerbridge (nr Harrogate) seeing fire crews called out. The Ouse at York is on the way up again, as are the upstream gauges.

Hope it doesn't affect my favourite phonetic place in the UK - Upper Poppleton.
