Isolated heavy cell nr Grimsby just leaving the coast now. Further cells back to the west, developing nr Stoke and then tracking ENE are worth watching as they will be heading east into an environment of reasonable surface heating and moisture, with good speed shear too.

Major trough with narrow line of torrential rain is extending from ~Bolton to Middlesbrough. Strong surface confluence/convergence zone here just on leading push of strong moisture from the SW. Certainly worth keeping an eye out along this feature for signs of rotation etc.
