I've still to check most wind reports but cairngorm has been over 100mph.

Rain in western Scotland, Skye, Lusa recorded 33mm in 4 hours between 7 & 11z.

Windspeeds may not seem much at other times of the year, but here, in May, the current mean speed of 29mph is only 4mph lower than the highest I've recorded over the last decade.
