A difficult call? sit tight and or wait or indeed head directly to the core of the action - decided to go for the kill so to speak, if anything to clear the mud spattered motor..First 7 as the day kicked off with hail showers drifting through on a brisk wind.No.8 Stafford cell appearing on the horizon..shall update rest later i.e., 8 onwards, as the action cranked up just a notch, thanks

The heads up certainly transpired into a fairly eventful day today, many thanks to all of those involved - temps really dropping like a stone within those heavier showers, LOL peaking at some 10C inbetween! and as the a'noon progressed caught an electrified cell S of Stafford, quite frequent booming thunder, big hail, although the stopping'n'starting pic taking probably took its toll.. ;-)

Nice work Ed, looking forward to the rest. Only on UKww can you flag up a radar echo and have one member almost under it and another racing toward it!

Good stuff Ed. I caught the edge of it and had a great view myself, along with some of that hail (fairly large for a time, too).

Many thanks all.Honestly, just trying to keep up with the quality images coming in from elsewhere! nonetheless, it sure was a productive day, CU heaven at times..here are several more from this set - i'm more tempted to open a separate one for the bruiser cell, which packed a fair punch and clearly rounded off a pretty decent days chase..
