Thunder possible this weekend?

I'd like to start a thread about a 'thundery weekend' in some areas at least?
Although I've seen no discussion on UKWW or heard anything in the media, upon looking at the MO charts from Friday on there seems to be a long fetch of SE winds originating in the Mediterranean and In association with the area of low pressure and fronts arriving from the South is this not a set for thunderstorms?

I think if you are in NW France theres a good chance
GFS MLcape for Sunday just gets the tip of Kent atm..... things may change and some of the BBC forecasters are getting excited about it 'very wet'.
