Following on from part 1 - the first distant rumbles were heard and the next batch of "i think it's going to rain.." ; ) appeared on the near horizon...decided to try and get a closer look and tbh things were changing pretty sharpish, several black bases began appearing from all angles - which ones to follow etc., is always the ultimate question, taking into account roads, traffic, spray, tractors! and at times localised flash flooding..always a case of stopping where's safe to do so and snapping away.All quite frankly part of the fun!

A little later ppn radar confirmed this localised but potent cell, the white-pixels gave the game away..some places just up the road managed to stay almost completely rain free, such is the nature of the beast.

Thanks peeps, although yes okay, perhaps it wasn't quite one of those moments when cg's were striking all around, ducking and diving or with ear piercing splitting thunder - every little helps, thanks to all those who contributed during this nonetheless interesting spell, convection rules

Four more from this set - wasen't too long ago when we or ok a fair few were complaining about the cold and damp, putting up with this lot! hope to see more (more heat inspired..) corkers in the next few days, perhaps with just a tad more grunt..
