Altnaharra N Scotland 27C at 15.00bst. Must be pretty rare for May I would have thought in that chilly region.

That's very high for Altnaharra in any month, though it is inland. Kinlochewe at 25C is pretty mad, too, as that's right on the coast.

Still under the low cloud which is taking a bit longer to burn off than expected, so currently at 15.5°C. Still trying to convince those around me that it WILL be sunny this afternoon and temperatures WILL be 20°C+ :)

Now at 22.7°c under a hazy sky.
The disbelievers are now saying to me'...you were right after all'. Did they expect I would be wrong ? :P

Had a max so far of 26.4 °C here, no doubt an over-reading by 1C or so with the lack of ventilation today but not outrageously wrong, Im sure...

A lousy 16C max here with persistent low cloud/mist fog off the Irish Sea. All stations in Nw England, N wales near coast have been plagued with this Irish Sea Haar all day, although we have had some good sunny spells this afternoon at least. NW sea breezes kept it cool.

26.6c here atm but I suspect I probably hit around 28c in my garden earlier (not downloaded my data yet) - I'm usually a good couple of degrees warmer than any standard location in this type of weather. Pershore was 25.8c at 17.00 so probably peaked around 26c

Far warmer inland than here on the coast today.
Just got in from work to find it's only reached a maximum of 17.7c.
Still nice though under 0/8 skies.

Warmest for Wales today officially: 25.1°C at Llysdinam

and for NI: 21.9 °C at Giants Causeway but that could be beaten as more data comes in.

from UKMO twitter.

Just 18.2C max today due to a cool breeze from the coast. Was very sunny through the afternoon but the low cloud/hill fog has swept back in and temp is currently just 11.7C.
