Crescent Venus In Daylight

Venus is getting very close to the Sun and is a beautiful silvery slithery crescent that no image can convey.
The image is distorted by the afternoon air currents.
The camera was a Concord 4340z 4mp compact attached to a Digiscoping bracket.26mm Plossl eyepiece.Telescope- Helios Explorer 200 mm f5 EQ5 Newtonian

I have only ever seen Venus as a blob of white on the night sky, or as a shadow transiting the Sun, so that is a really good capture. Thanks for sharing.

Nice one Les, I did try it with my telephoto lens just to see if i could make out the crescent a while ago no chance.
