Convective/Thunderstorm Reports - Wednesday 30th May 2012 text only

We are on the edge of the rain - looks like there may be hail towards the centre of the cell.
Several muffled thunder claps heard, and a couple of sharp cracks.
No lightning seen yet.
Base of the cell is very unstable - camera at the ready

That must be what I can hear on the radio, its moving east-?-maybe from here, sun is out again here so hopefully will get to see it side on.

Think they are the real deal (satellite imagery and their movement in line with the wind flow in that area supports them as showers).

Nasty looking cell S of Northampton at the moment - looking quite organised on the radar with strong growth on is southern side. Seems to be multicellular in its characteristic. This main line of storms should intensify further as it heads NE over the next few hours.
A few heavy showers now developing to the SW of London again...
