What is becoming the tediously predictable onslaught for the end of the week and weekend. Looks like the rain is due to arrive in the SW before the end of the day and then go on to deluge Wales in particular, but it wil be helpful if depressing to keep a record of the various parameters over the next few days once again to see which of the models is doing the best job. Who knows, maybe we can even throw low max temps into the mix as well with some big contrasts on the 22nd between north and south.

Still some uncertainty but North Wales still probably odds on for the highest rainfall totals as it stands, and the track/depth of the LP hasn't really been nailed yet either.

A huge amount of pretty heavy in the western Channel / Brest region at the moment, GFS only has 4-10mm accumilations this afternoon but looking at the current radar I would say 10-25mm would be more likely in places?

Sharp increase of reported windspeeds at Guernsey Airport, no doubt in association with the developing LP.
