Partial Thickness values increase in the South over the next 24 hrs as a weak plume moves north from Spain and Western France. Remnants of yesterday's front are still hanging around in the south trapped in a warm moist stagnant layer. Satellite Loops indicate this should break up over the next few hrs, though some other Cu or CuSc will develop in places in the moist zone.
Temps difficult to forecast due to these variables. London is likely to see the highest temps of between 25.0 and 26.0C, elsewhere 22-25C

Up to 24.1 °C here at 11.45 BST, which means it has beaten my lowest monthly max for August of 24.0 °C in 1985.

Hit 24.8 °C earlier but has since turned cloudy now with 7/8 Sc so that could be it for the max here.
London St James Park jumped to 25.3 °C at 11.00 BST but was 24.1 °C at 12.00 BST.

Gravesend-Broadness 25.3 °C at 14.00 BST, shares the lead with St James Park as of now for the day's high AFAIK.

Cloud cleared a little here and the temperature jumped back up to 25.3 °C in the sunshine.

Currently 23.6C here in Saltash, SE Cornwall with a high of 24.2C. Been humid though, current dew point is 18.4C with a high of 19.1C

Max of 26.1 °C in Exeter. Quite a lot of scattered cloud but felt summery for first time in weeks.
