LOL Chaser you won't see many home grown T-storms on there
anyway, looking good as we should see at least one or two before the year's out...

I know home grown are difficult when your talking about those generated by large land masses but if there is enough dynamic forcing they do form overhead like last week

Ran the Jersey Half Marathon back in November 1991. It was a surprisingly warm day for so late in the year.
However, the night before the race, most of us had been kept awake by thunderstorms triggered by relatively cool air flowing over warm sea, and some of the short period downpours were quite impressive too. My only visit to Jersey coincided with thunderstorms.

Yes we do get a few at other times of the year because of that sea temp. I remember that overnight snow we have in December 2010 - it was accompanied by awesome thunderstorms - about 3 - knocked out power to the airport and the internet for some reason!
