..Yes, quite literally! not about the actual specifics etc., there's a separate thread for that - but about those who may be behind it? (kinda..) looking into the future? what the forecast may or may not behold, longer term? no doubt checking through reams of raw data, charts, graphs, figures, more data, charts, list is endless! and eventually placing pen to paper or okay the equivalent! with so many variables to look for at any one given time, it must be a minefield at the best of times...looking from a relative amateurs POV i'm quite fascinated, by the final outputs and tbh would like to learn a little more about this weather science, even gain some more insight into what tools are used to make model runs/output as accurate as is physically possible.Which i'm presuming is the whole idea

Perhaps it's more of a case of being lazy than ignorant, not delving that bit more..and i'm hoping maybe a few others may find it beneficial to learn or gain a few helpful tips or advice - i've always got alot of time for those who perhaps take a more scientific, indepth analysis into these things and yes maybe at times it seems like a pretty thankless task - rest assured it is appreciated by myself and no doubt countless others.There must be a few perfectionists out there, whether they do it for a living, or even as a hobby, even to the point of beating themselves up if things go slightly pear-shaped as perfectionists (sometimes) do..

think most on here are taking a back seat and waiting to see what unfolds , i must say it is looking quite exceptional at the moment and could be on a par with the start of Dec 2010 , but i will reserve judgement and wait till +48
