Myself and a fellow chaser initially targeted the Buladelah/Nelson Bay area of NSW for the weak triple point. We knew that the mositure sector was going to be the concern as the seabreeze would be thin. Nelson Bay is at the end of the largest eastward swing of the NSW coast, therefore tends to have better access to moisture on marginal days. We did however get distracted by early convection 150kms inland, which we took after, luckily we did get back to the coast in time for a nice structured storm. Moisture was very critical and I think given another 500m-1000m in seabreeze depth we would have had a supercell as other factors were good.

Best to watch this YouTube in full HD - contrast is better to watch the timelapse of the Buladelah storm. There is also a mid level funnel, and a nice sunset to finish
